| We know each other by our names, trading ideas, suggestions, triumphs and disappointments online, yet rarely share each other's lives in any physical way. Yet we have bonds as strong as many hometown friendships, and are often given to wonder what it's really like at the IP address on the other end of this virtual reality. We spend way too much time and money pursuing this obsession. Still we return, the camaraderie and friendship online outweighing the persistence of our physical circumstances. We have a sense of each other from this cyber community that matches those in our physical daily lives. It is with these thoughts that the ProNet World Tour was born. |
| We invite you to live vicariously through the windshield of the little ProNet micro-heli as it sets out on a journey around the world, to be flown by carefully "random" selected micro-heli pilots from many walks of life on every continent. The ProNet is an original idea, not of any specific manufacturer, which is fitting. It belongs to us, and is a product of our collective minds as expressed daily in the online threads. Undoubtedly, it will get modified and change throughout the journey, just as the threads get revised. The ProNet is really the physical embodiment of our online threads, in a way that brings it all together |
